Build: What was Fairly Bike? (1977 - 2001)
For 34 years, Fairly Bike has been building bicycles for OEM clients who have become world famous in the global market place.
However, as with most such OEM companies, Fairly staff concentrated mostly on how to build better bikes with higher efficiency. Competitive advantage and higher employee contribution to sales made Fairly Bike stand out in this industry. Not on the riding experience or riding culture.
Ride: Transformation (2002 - Present)
As the world entered the 21st century, health consciousness became a major topic in Taiwan. Observing that the world was riveted by the famous Tour de France events every summer, the bike industry people of Taiwan realized more and more that it was impossible to enjoy wealth, if health did not exist. News about cycling, news about health, and the exposure of Fairly staff to the cycling cultures of the west, caused the message of cycling culture and participation to enter the minds of the team of the Fairly Bike team.
A few staff members started riding bicycles regularly to work every day. Others joined them. As a group, they accomplished Tour de Taiwan around the island, enjoying the famous and beautiful terrain on the south tip of the island where the ocean was as blue as it can be, and on the east coasts where the dramatic landscapes and the absolutely fresh air accentuated the quietness.
More and more staff members began cycling. For many Fairly staff, at all levels, cycling became a personal challenge, or a casual escape (and for some a way to save money!). This defined the new era of Fairly Bike, where the understanding of cycling equipment accelerated to its strongest ever.
Race: Passion (Present)
So the more rides, the better one gets. Many of our passionate cycling members at Fairly dare to compete in local races. The purpose of such is to set personal goals to accomplish, and many of them have accomplished more than they ever imagined. During their participation, they gain a better comprehension of the technical issues surrounding bicycles; hence it becomes valuable to Fairly Bike and Fairly customers. Most of the experience gained from personal touch during the race translates into attention to details during the production.
The builds continue, the rides expand, and the races advance.
These three become the corporate anthem at Fairly Bike. Whether it is personal resolution to race, or it is casual weekend rides together with family members and friends, we encourage them all.
